Peer Mentoring Services

Peer mentoring is an integral part of creating an inclusive college environment for students. At BSC, peer mentors are students who develop relationships with fellow students with disabilities. Peer mentors also provide academic support, social support, job coaching, independent living skills training, as well as support for self-advocacy and self-determination.

Student Accessibility Services

The mission of BSC's Student Accessibility office is to support students with disabilities by providing reasonable accommodations and equitable access to educational opportunities while maintaining quality academic standards. Student Accessibility Services promote self-awareness, self-determination, and self-advocacy, while ensuring individuals with disabilities have the same access to programs, opportunities, and activities as all others. Students are assisted in implementing reasonable accommodations to meet their individual needs.

Testing Services

Bismarck State College Testing Services provides high quality, accessible, and affordable testing in a secure, comfortable environment. We adhere to the professional standards and guidelines of the National College Testing Association. Testing Services offers a variety of tests including ACCUPLACER, CLEP, DSST, ACT WorkKeys and ATI TEAS testing. We also provide computerized and paper/pencil proctoring services for BSC students, Non-BSC students, and community members.
